08/19/08 Notice from Maureen Gilbert, President, FSMTA Please read the following from Vivian Mahoney which was sent to us by Maureen Gilbert, President, FSMTA. Notice to All FSMTA Members! On Monday afternoon I was heading to Louisiana to visit my daughter whom I have not seen in a year and a half. I took a 3-hour detour to meet in Pensacola with a PIP attorney. This attorney is more than willing to work to help FL LMT’s with problematic PIP claims. There would be no cost involved as he accepts assignment cases and is paid by insurance companies when cases are settled. Since I am first and foremost your insurance consultant, I would like to get this message to our FSMTA members first! I am requesting any problem with auto insurance cases to be reported to me for me to completely analyze. From there, if they seem to warrant the need of legal assistance I will forward to the attorney. I have already spoken to Mr. Lambert about this. Because he is our Association Attorney he does not take on this sort of case but indicated that he will do anything and everything he can to help the attorney involved if need be. I am especially requesting cases at this time from the PENSACOLA region where a PIP claim is being denied for any reason!!! All other areas please also submit your PIP claim denials, reductions or delays. SEND ALL Correspondence to my email address set up especially for PIP information flpiphelp@aol.com. Thank you for your cooperation. Let’s work together to stop these insurance companies from trying to hold on to YOUR money!!! --Vivian M. Mahoney |
